Ole Firehouse No. 1, 110 West Main in Pawhuska, OK

Headline artist:

Nashville TN-based artist Joshua Quimby combines his powerful voice, expressively raw lyricism, and folk/blues/country guitar picking to produce a sound that is both rustic and righteous; tried and true.  Joshua will be bringing his band, and they'll be playing music from his newly-released second album.

Opening artist:

Local singer/songwriter Phil Kane is back, playing his songs about growing up in Osage County and country life.  After his top-40 American Idol run, he has been writing songs and performing in Nashville, but the Firehouse remains his favorite venue.  He'll be bringing more musicians to the Firehouse in the future as he creates "Firehouse Sessions," a hub on the internet where great songwriters can be found.

Together, Bob Wills' Texas Playboys forge on through the 21st Century, bringing a nostalgic glow to longtime Wills fans and the joy of discovery to those who might not have even been born when Bob died. Once again, the baton has been passed, and the hands that grasped it are crafting some of the finest examples of Bob Wills-style western swing anyone could ever want to hear.
